CAREGIVER COLLABORATION
AND INVOLVEMENT

Gaining knowledge. Developing skills.

We understand and value the role caregivers play in their child’s success and skill development. For this reason, we emphasize collaborating with caregivers in the development of their child’s initial and continued goals for services. Additionally, all caregivers develop their own achievable goals for services in which they are able to acquire the knowledge and actionable strategies to support their child's continued development of new skills and maintain results of behavior reduction services. This is done by participating in caregiver collaboration meetings and hands-on practice sessions with their child and their BCBA and/or Lead RBT for at least 2 hours per month and as frequent as up to one time per week, as needed.
