Support and advocate for neurodiverse individuals through an instrumental clinical role
About the Position
Registered Line Technicians (RLTs) deliver individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services directly to clients, working under the supervision of a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst. RLTs use evidence-based practices to teach a variety of skills, including communication, social interaction, leisure and play, independence with daily living routines, executive functioning, and positive alternatives to challenging behaviors.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 direct ABA services to clients

Teaching and supporting the development of essential life skills

Collecting and summarizing data on client progress and behaviors

Collaborating closely with BCBAs® and fellow technicians to ensure optimal client outcomes

Managing a small caseload (typically 4–6 clients) to allow for quality interactions and supervision
All RLTs receive comprehensive initial training, ongoing supervision, and professional development from our BCBAs®. New hires must complete a BACB-approved 40-hour training and are required to sit for and pass the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) exam within six months of employment.

Requirements
All candidates must:

Pass a background check by the Louisiana State Police

Have a legal driver's license and reliable transportation

Have at least a high school diploma.

Be eager and willing to uphold the core values of Summit and to learn and implement ABA principles and procedures.​
Preferred candidates have the following:

Bachelor's degree or in pursuit of degree
-
Background in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology,
Education, or Speech and Language Pathology -
Experience as a behavior technician

Experience working with children
-
Interest in further education in ABA
Compensation/Rate: Starting at $12.50 - $14.50 (based on degree)
