Support and advocate for neurodiverse individuals through an instrumental clinical role
About the Position
Registered Line Technicians (RLTs) provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, under the supervision of a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst®. Our technicians provide direct services to clients and are responsible using science-based procedures for teaching a range of skills including: communication, social, leisure and play, independence with functional life skills and routines, executive functioning, and alternatives to maladaptive behavior. Technicians are also responsible for collecting data and summarizing client performance/behaviors and collaborating with our BCBAs® and other technicians to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. Each technician works with a limited number of clients (3-5, typically), to ensure adequate experience and supervision with each client. Opportunities for advancement in the company and within the field of ABA are available to interested and high-performing behavior technicians.

Our behavior technicians receive extensive initial training and ongoing supervision and training from our BCBAs®. All RLTs complete an approved 40-hour training and are be required to sit for and pass the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) exam, within 6 months of employment.

Requirements
All candidates must:

Pass a background check by the Louisiana State Police

Have a legal driver's license and reliable transportation

Have at least a high school diploma.

Be eager and willing to uphold the core values of Summit and to learn and implement ABA principles and procedures.​
Preferred candidates have the following:

Bachelor's degree or in pursuit of degree
-
A background in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology,
Education, or Speech and Language Pathology -
Experience as a behavior technician

Experience working with children
-
Interest in further education in ABA
Compensation/Rate: $12.50 - $14.50 (based on degree)
