SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND BEHAVIOR SUPPORT

We offer a comprehensive range of assessment and intervention services based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Our services are designed to teach essential skills needed for success and independence across environments (e.g., home, school, community) and teach alternatives to maladaptive behaviors that may be impacting a child's ability to learn and participate in other settings. Our services are available for all ages and diagnoses, however, insurance-funded services may have specific requirements for diagnosis and age.

Areas of skill development focus may include:

• Functional communication

• Expressive and receptive language

• Social and play skills

• Group instruction and classroom-readiness

• Functional life skills and daily routines

• Executive functioning and emotion regulation
   

Areas of behavior reduction focus may include:

• Decreasing maladaptive behaviors such as:

  • Aggression

  • Property destruction

  • Intense tantrums

  • Self-injury

• Teaching appropriate alternative behaviors​
